Bambu Lab announced the P1P is reaching end of sale while continuing accessory support for five years. Availability may therefore be used or region-specific.
The P1S adds a plastic-and-glass enclosure, controlled fans and activated-carbon filtering. These differences are more important than the identical build volume.
A P1P enclosure upgrade is not automatically cheaper or equivalent to a P1S purchase. Price the complete kit and consider time, warranty and current availability.

Maximum speed is not a job-cost result. Filament, purge waste, print time, energy use and failure allowance all depend on the sliced job. Estimate the real cost of a job on either printer.
They have the same stated 256 mm cube build volume. The P1S is slightly wider and heavier because of its enclosure.
