Repeat file-review workflow

Batch STL and 3MF Checker

Check a collection, find files needing attention, and export a consistent report. Supported STL and mesh-based 3MF files stay in your browser; original files remain unchanged.

Check a collection

New selections replace this queue. To review a revision while retaining other results, replace one file in its result card. Files are ordered by relative path/name before processing.

Drop STL/3MF files here, or use the labelled file controls.

Folder selection uses the same file count and per-file budgets, including unsupported members. ZIP collections are not accepted. Use ordinary file selection if your browser does not support folders.

Free allowance: 3 files per collection. Each file: up to 5 MiB and 100,000 resolved triangles. 3MF expanded-package budget: 20 MiB. Files are checked one at a time to bound memory.

This report describes the selected files. Compare their names and quantities with your intended delivery inventory as well. A missing required file can leave the remaining reports unchanged. The deliberately open-face cover remains unresolved in the filled kit release record. Prepare the recipient manifest.

Hypothetical kit: 60 × 40 × 4 mm base (9,600 mm³), 60 × 40 × 2 mm open-face cover (four boundary edges; volume unavailable), and 8 × 8 × 12 mm spacer (768 mm³), under a millimetre STL assumption. Intended piece inventory is separate from mesh health. These generated boxes are not an assembly or physical print test.

The 3MF example is a one-inch cube translated two inches on X by its build transform. Its resolved dimensions are 25.4 mm per side, without treating the STL unit choice as package metadata.

Example ground truth: a closed 20 mm cube (8,000 mm³), an open cube with one missing face (four boundary edges, volume unavailable), and malformed text. These are generated examples, not physical print tests.

Local report history

Optional storage on this browser only. No cloud history, cross-device storage or original model bytes. Clearing browser data removes reports.

Check collections and keep consistent reports

Single-file tools remain free. This workspace provides a small real collection allowance, combined exports and browser-local history. Paid subscriptions, cloud projects and cross-device history are not available.

Free collections include up to 3 files, combined JSON and CSV downloads, a printable report and optional history in this browser. Larger collections are not yet available.

Frequently asked collection questions

Is a skipped check a clean result?

No. Fit without a printer profile and unsupported analyses stay explicitly skipped. Self intersections are not checked; compare connectivity and intersection checks.

Why is volume unavailable?

Open boundaries, winding or multiple-shell interpretation can prevent a supported solid-volume result. Check units and volume validity before substituting a number.

What happens after navigation or reload?

Internal handoffs retain the selected file and collection in this tab's memory. Reloading requires reselection. Clear the collection to release its original files. Saving report history is optional and stores findings only.

Can I review a revised file?

Use Replace this file on its result card. The recorded collection settings are retained and other completed results remain. A new ordinary collection selection starts a new queue.

Method and next steps

Interpret separate shells before deleting or merging parts.

STL unit assumptions and 3MF build transforms are recorded. Exact-coordinate welding precedes edge incidence, winding and connected-shell checks. Sampled wall rays review triangle centroids; they can miss thin features and do not replace a slicer. Fit uses nominal printer boxes at right angles, without brims, clips or excluded bed regions.

Review findings in STL preflight or 3MF preflight. Use STL revision comparison when checking replacement exports.
